DELEGATION QUESTIONS SYRIA WAR OPTION

BOSTON (AP) _ Massachusetts two Democratic U.S. senators say they want more information before deciding how to vote on President Barack Obama's request for limited military action in Syria.

Sen. Edward Markey, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Wednesday he voted ``present'' on the latest version of the resolution.

Markey said he wanted to review classified materials and was concerned about the unintended consequences of an attack. He said the current resolution is too broad.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren is planning to attend a classified briefing on Friday for members of Congress.

Asked about Obama's request on Monday, Warren described it as ``very open ended'' and said that's a problem. Warren also called the actions of Syrian President Bashar Assad reprehensible, but said her job is to look out for the best interests of the United States.
